BRICS STI FP Conference
on Biomedical Sciences and Technologies
25–26 May, 2023
The conference will gather participants of the BRICS STI supported research projects in biomed in 2017–2022, science and business community, funding agencies, BRICS WG on biomed experts, other stakeholders.
On 25–26 May 2023, a special BRICS STI FP Conference on Biomedical Sciences and Technologies will be conducted in Moscow.

The meeting will gather participants of the BRICS supported research projects in biomed areas, scientific researchers, technology companies, startups, medical clinical centers, BRICS STI funding agencies, experts of BRICS STI WG on biomed and biotech, young researchers, and other relevant stakeholders.

One of the goals of the conference is to elaborate thematic scoping in biomed area for the upcoming call on BRICS STI Flagship Projects.

  • Сonference language
    The Conference is held in English. We recommend to make talks in English, but we leave final decision on language to the speaker. Anyway, simultaneous English/Russian translation will be organised.
The Conference will gather participants of the BRICS supported research projects in biomed areas, scientific researchers, technology companies, startups, medical clinical centers, BRICS STI funding agencies, experts of BRICS STI WG on biomed and biotech, young researchers and other relevant stakeholders.

During the conference, participants of the BRICS STI FP biomed-related projects will present outcomes of their studies supported as results of the four BRICS STI FP calls. Around 30 BRICS research projects in the areas of biomed sciences conducted within 2017-2022 were invited to present their results to the audience.

The conference will also focus on future activities of the BRICS STI cooperation, including next calls for projects. We expect development of the BRICS STI cooperation in digital health, state-of-the-art biomed technologies in response to viral pandemics, oncology, chronic diseases, as well as non-communicative diseases, including mental health, aging decline, disabilities rehabilitation and sustainable agro technologies for healthy nutrition.
